National Dance Company Wales is Looking for Female and Male Dancers
National Dance Company Wales is enlarging the dance company and is looking for dancers to join the team.
Both posts are open to male and female dancers. Applicants must have significant professional experience, exceptional contemporary and classical technique, as well as strong improvisation and acting skills. Teaching experience and good communication skills are also required for the Company’s participation work. Repertoire will include works by Marcos Morau, Roy Assaf, Mario Bermudez Gil, Lee Johnston and the company’s Artistic Director, Caroline Finn.
Where & When: Auditions and interviews to be held at the Dance House, Cardiff on 12th & 13th August 2017.
Company dancer contract
This contract is offered on a permanent basis, starting in December 2017.
Contract start date: 11th December 2017

Learning Lead Dancer contract
This is a permanent position, starting in October 2017. As well as being a core dancer of the Company, this new role will support and enhance the Company’s participatory and learning activity, helping devise content for the Company’s learning programmes in line with the artistic vision. A passion for teaching as well as good organisational and communication skills are essential.
Contract start date: 16th October 2017
