Particles Dance Company is Looking for Dancers
Particles is a professional dance company based in Roosendaal (the Netherlands), led by Nishant Bhola, that creates contemporary, intercultural, and socially critical dance performances and workshops.
For the project Dance & Dialogue, Particles will engage with a young audience (12+) on important themes to strengthen their personal values and stimulate dialogue about identity, freedom, and equality. Following the performance (60 minutes), students will participate in several workshops over a period of two years.
Particles is committed to fair practice reimbursements and works hard for a safe and open space where all conversations are possible.
– Professional dancer fees: €43/hour ex. 9% tax & €0,24/km with a maximum of €50/day, 147 hours spread over 24 days.
– Intern fees: Interns at Particles receive a monthly stipend to cover their transport for €50/day for 24 days.
Rehearsals & Performance. It is a requirement that you can be present in Roosendaal on the following dates: July 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th & August first, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th.
Requirements:
Particles is looking for versatile dancers with strong performance skills rooted in contemporary, modern, club, acrobatics or street styles, and a commitment to improvisation and co-creative processes. We value and encourage applications from dancers of all backgrounds and genders. Whether you are formally trained or self-taught, we invite you to audition for our next production.
