Where: Studio 2, DOCK11, Berlin, Germany
When: 16.12.023 -17.12.2023 (10:00 – 17:00)
Deadline for applications: 15.12.2023
About the workshop
A weekend of exploration on Presence and Authorship in a playful, committed and supportive environment. We consciously break the dominance of any aesthetic. We invite questions and perspectives: What is presence? What is embodiment? What is authenticity in movements? How to navigate intention when performing? How to build your own set of tools to support sustainability in a creation flow? What is decentralisation in composition?
Why reclaim authorship?
Prospective participants: Prior experience in dance/theater/somatic practices recommended.
Where
December 16 & 17 2023 10:00-17:00 @DOCK11, Kastanienallee 79, 10435 Berlin
The venue is unfortunately not barrier-free, and doesn’t have facilities to specifically accommodate participants with hearing or visual impairments. However, we are open for proposals. Please get in touch with any individual requests – we will try our best to accommodate accordingly.
What is : second half :
A time-space for movement research.
We facilitate sporadic yet recurring dance-body-performance-related workshops with curated themes in Berlin. Catering for like-minded fellow artists who wish to refine their work through a supportive network. We are determined to foster and normalise a harassment-free and boundary-respecting space in every aspect. We take identity politics seriously, and stand in solidarity with the marginalised voices.
