Punchdrunk are Looking for a Coventry Based Performer to Join the Cast of ‘The Lost Lending Library’
Punchdrunk Enrichment are looking for a Coventry based performer to join the cast of The Lost Lending Library, which is being performed for public audiences for the first time in its UK premiere for Coventry UK City of Culture 2021.
The production is centred around a nomadic, magical library that celebrates books and the journeys they take us on, travelling around the world to collect stories from those with the greatest imaginations; children!
Interested candidates must be available for the following dates:
Audition: Tuesday 6th July 2021
Rehearsals: Monday 18th – Saturday 23rd October 2021
Performances: Monday 25th – Saturday 6th November 2021 (Excluding Sunday 31st October)
They are looking for a performer who could work as a swing, sharing two roles across each day of performances with two other performers on rotation. For more details on the roles please see here.
Ideal candidates will have:
• A minimum of two years professional acting experience
• Experience of working in interactive or immersive performance with the ability to be adaptable and
reactive to child audiences
• Experience performing with young audiences (3-11 year olds)
• Strong facilitation experience
• A base in Coventry or able to commute to Coventry (there are no relocation costs). We are
interested in seeing performers who live locally in Coventry
Punchdrunk Enrichment engages performer/facilitators on ITC performer contracts, on a project-by- project basis. Rates of pay exceed the ITC minimum weekly salary.
Audition: held on Tuesday 6th July 2021 in Coventry, Location TBC.
