Audition: 1 – 4 February 2020

How to Apply: Registration for auditions opens Tuesday 26th November via Brown Paper Tickets.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all spaces have been filled you can join the waiting list by emailing .

This is an exciting offer for dancers at the start of their careers who wish to experience working with some of the world’s best choreographers under the umbrella of Rambert. Rambert2’s programme will tour regionally around the UK and include performances at London’s Sadler’s Wells. Rambert2 will have the opportunity to train, rehearse and perform alongside our main company at their home on London’s South Bank.

The second cohort of Rambert2 is currently touring the UK with a triple bill featuring two new creations, Terms and Conditions by Jermaine Spivey and Sama by Andrea Miller as well as Sin, a duet by Damien Jalet and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

Dancers interested in auditioning for Rambert2 should familiarise themselves with the work of choreographers in Rambert2’s current and recent repertoire, as well as the movement of Ohad Naharin.

Open auditions cover two routes to dancing with the Rambert2 ensemble:

  1. Audition for a place on the MA Professional Dance Performance programme, delivered by Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance and validated by the University of Kent;
  2. Audition for a ‘direct membership’ place with the Rambert2 ensemble.

Places on the MA Professional Dance Performance programme are currently only available to UK/EU/EEA students.

Individuals from outside the UK/EU/EEA who are not eligible for the MA programme are welcome to apply for a ‘direct membership’ place with the Rambert2 ensemble.
