Ransack Dance Company are Seeking Dancers for Thier Double-bill Production ‘Murmur’
Ransack Dance Company is a dance theatre company working with live dance, music and film, based in Pontypridd, South Wales.
Following a series of R&D projects, we have recently been awarded a grant from the Arts Council of Wales to put our new double bill ‘Murmur’ into production and premiere the work in September 2018, before touring in 2019. We are looking for new dancers to join the Ransack team for the productionDancer Requirements:
-At least 3 years training in contemporary dance (to degree level or equivalent)
-Strong floor work and contact work skills
-Acrobatic/gymnastics skills desirable (but not essential)
-Ability to play an instrument desirable (but not essential)
We are particularly looking for dancers who play the guitar and sing

Contract Details:
-2 weeks rehearsal + 3 days production/performance
-Dates: Between Thursday 30th Aug to Friday 14th Sept 2018
-Fee: £1170 (based on £450 per 5-day week)
+ travel expenses to and from company base andaccommodation provided (if required)

The work will be toured in 2019 so further work will be available following this project
