Rob Heaslip Dance is looking for expressions of interest from dancers for the creation and premiere his new work FREAGRA | A Blurred Expanse. Rehearsals and Performances will take place in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, Scotland.
Rob Heaslip is looking for 2 performers who have trained at recognised dance institutions. Graduates are welcome. Those interested should have strong technical skills, and also hold an interest in delving into a creative process that requires improvisation, partner work, sensory experimentation and an eagerness to work in a team environment.
FREAGRA | A Blurred Expanse will be an ensemble piece of contemporary dance exploring identity. Here a focal point will be conjured to create a dance piece based upon the play of cause-and-effect in human collective mentality.
Suitable applicants will be invited to a workshop in Glasgow April 30th.
You must be available for the following dates: June 6th – July 3rd, July 7th – 9th
Performer Fee is at Equity Rates.
