ROOTED IN MOTION 2026/7: MODULAR TRAINING IN CONTACT IMPROVISATION
6 training modules spread over 10 months, taught by expert facilitators Hugh Stanier & Vega Luukkonen in the beautiful surrounds of Eden Studios, Berlin (Germany).
Join us to deepen your knowledge of Contact Improvisation (CI), Somatic Movement, & Group Improvisation. Expand your practice by: building a strong foundation; learning vital skills for moving from informed instinct during improvisation; spending focussed time learning-through-doing in a warm & welcoming group.
Gain access via our learning platform to video resources which outline the material covered during each of the training modules. Use video playback to support your ongoing learning journey, as you practice between modules.
Leave with the confidence & the tools to continue your personal research in dance improvisation, alone & in group settings.
Requirements:
Participants can join for a module, a number of modules, or the full training. [ NB. If CI is relatively new to you, it is important to begin with the first module ]
