Seeking 1 Female and 1 Male Modern Dancer for a Launch Performance with KGDDance a Feminist Dance Company

Seeking 1 Female and 1 Male Modern Dancer for December 5th Launch Performance of KGDDance.; A feminist dance company creating work for both stage and film, focusing on truthful female-centric artistic narratives explored through movement.

We are in need of two more dancers for the premier of KGDDANCE’s show “Difficult Women” (working title) during our company launch event. The show includes a series of duets, trios and solos, that are movement adaptations of the short stories found in Roxanne Gay’s book “Difficult Women”.

Performing with us could potentially lead to a company position if that is of interest, but there is no obligation.

Looking for Dancers proficient in Modern/Contemporary. Acting skills a plus. Dancers of all ethnicities encouraged to apply.
Rehearsals will not be paid (approx. 1 per week); however, you will be paid min $50 for the performance on December 5th @7:30pm. Possibility of extending to full run at a later date.
