The Grand Theatre of Geneva is Seeking 12 Professional Dancers

THE GREAT THEATER OF GENEVA SEARCHES 12 PROFESSIONAL DANCERS
For the production Médée of M.-A. Charpentier will be played at the Grand Théâtre de Genève from April 30 to May 11, 2019 (6 performances) in a staging by David McVicar and under the direction of Leonardo García Alarcón. Choreography by Lynne Page. Resume of the choreography in Geneva by Gemma Payne.

We are looking for 6 professional dancers and 6 dancers with a strong physical presence, with a high technical level in both classical and contemporary dance. Candidates must have skills in couple dancing, exceptional stage and artistic presence, and a strong interest in storytelling.

Availability for all dates required. No absence can be granted.

There will be a week of preliminary rehearsals from February 25th to March 2nd, 2019 and rehearsals will take place from March 25th to April 27th, 2019.

I 18th of April: 9.30 am General piano (in costumes)
Ma 23 April: 14h00-17h00 and 19h30-22h30 rehearsals stage and orchestra
Wed 24th April: 14h00-17h00 and 19h30-22h30 repetitions stage and orchestra
I April 25: 7:30 pm Pre-General (in costumes)
On April 27th: 7:30 pm Public General (in costumes)
Ma April 30th: 7:30 pm 1st performance
3rd May: 19h30 2nd performance
5th May: 15h00 3rd performance
Ma May 7: 7:30 pm 4th performance
May 9th: 7:30 pm 5th performance
On May 11th: 7:30 pm 6th performance
