The Van – L Dance Company is Excited to Hold an Audition for Their New Production 2018-2019.
The Van – L Dance Company is excited to hold a new audition for their new production 2018-2019. We are looking for one male and one female dancers based in UK and Europe who are strong and passionate about dance and performance. The rehearsals will be scheduled in different periods throughout the year and in different countries and cities. All expenses will be covered and wages are included in this production.
Dancers need to have strong experience in technique (not limited to any style) as well as in improvisation. The practice will be on Embodied Unity an integration of Flying Low & Passing Through, Release, Contact Improvisation, Partnering integrating Chi Gong and energy work.
Artists need to be available on the following dates:
19 August – 2 September 2018 Tenerife – Spain
16 December 2018 – 6 January 2019 Hoh Chi Minh City – Vietnam
26 May – 15 July 2019 Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur
More dates might be added and will be adjusted accordingly to the dancers’ schedules.

How to Apply: Send your CV and a video expressing your interest to be part of the audition. Participation will be only by invitation as we will accept limited number of artists to ensure the best input for all participants. The intensive day will be processed as a workshop and all artists will stay till the end. We will inform the selected artists via email in the next few days after the audition.
