Vanessa Maria Mirza is looking for a male-identifying dancer/performer to research a new work.
All rehearsals will take place in London in Spring 2024 leading to an informal sharing. The dance artist will be paid at recommended industry rates for the research period.
For this research Vanessa is keen to work with a mature performer and a preference will be given to those with experience/an interest in interdisciplinary works.
Vanessa Maria Mirza is a London-based contemporary dancer, choreographer and visual artist of Anglo-Indian heritage originally
from Calcutta, India. She trained professionally in contemporary dance at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her choreography has been performed in Taiwan, UK and India. She is the Founder-Director of Dance Bridges Festival in India.
Audition is in the form of a workshop and will be by invitation only.
Rehearsal Schedule:
May 11th & 12th (10am-6pm, Sat & Sun)
May 15th 6pm-9.30pm (Wed)
May 18th & 19th (10am-6pm, Sat & Sun)
May 22nd 6pm-9.30pm (Wed)
May 27th- 31st ( 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri)
