WONDERGROUND is Looking for a Female Dancer to Enter an Ongoing Creation
WONDERGROUND Movement Arts (Tom Weksler & Roser Tutusaus) are looking for a female performer to enter an ongoing creation that will be premiered in January 2025 in Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona.
Candidates should be available for the creation period and premiere from 17 to 29 of June 2024 and 1 October 2024 until 26 January 2025, with additional tour dates after this period to be confirmed. All rehearsals will take place in Barcelona, Spain. The audition is open for European residents and people who are eligible to work in Europe.
Requirements:
The audition is open for contemporary dancers (or circus artists with distinct dance abilities). The work is intended for performers with a minimum of 3 years of professional stage experience.
Performers with exceptional partnering, floor work and stage presence are invited to apply.
Where:
Barcelona, Spain.
When:
The audition will take place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 of April from 10:00 to 17:00. Final candidates will be invited for an additional day in THE ISLAND, the company’s home studio in the outskirts of Barcelona on the 8th of April between 10-17.

– A performance reel or a video of yourself improvising of maximum 3 minutes (your video needs to be uploaded on a streaming platform like vimeo or youtube)
– A confirmation of your availability to the dates of the creation
The audition is by invitation only. A pre-selection will be made based on your video and CV. Kindly notice Wonderground will not cover travel expenses or accommodation.
