The Cirque du Soleil Casting team is looking for a soloist level Caucasian male contemporary dancer with strong acting skills to play a lead role in a new creation that will premiere in 2017.
Location: New big top touring show.
Workshop: From October 10 to 28, 2016 in Montreal.
Training and rehearsals: Starting in Montreal on January 4, 2017.
Contract: From January 4, 2017, to December 31, 2018 with annual renewal option.
Role:
- Caucasian Male;
- Minimum Height: 5’10” (1.78 m). Candidates measuring less than 5’10” (1.78 m) will not be considered for this role.
- Between 25 and 45 years old;
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in ballet-based contemporary dance;
- Strong lines and technique;
- Very strong acting and improvisational skills;
- Projects a certain maturity, wise beyond his years;
- Outgoing and confident yet can portray vulnerability;
- Great stage presence and charisma;
- Excellent physical condition.
