Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project is Seeking Dancers
The Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project has a core mission to nurture, elevate, and empower artists whose voices are not traditionally heard. We are currently seeking dancers of all gender expressions to take part in a three week rehearsal process with all new choreographic works.
Dancers should be local to southern New England. RIWCP does not currently provide housing. Rehearsals will take place at Festival Ballet Providence, RI, May 2nd-20th. Performances will be the weekend of May 21st.
Requirements:
1. You must have the legal right to work in the US.
2. RIWCP provides a performance stipend of $300 and a small travel allowance for those coming to Providence, RI, from >30 miles away. We do not provide housing at this time. Rehearsal scheduling will be flexible to allow for your other commitments, which you must outline in your application.
All participants must be available May 20-22 for tech rehearsals and performances and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to perform at Festival Ballet Providence.

a headshot
an image of you in movement
copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card or exemption
Your application will not be considered complete without these materials. If you are applying both as a choreographer and a dancer, you only need to submit these materials once.
