Alexander Whitley Dance Company is Looking for New Dancers
Alexander Whitley Dance company is seeking technically strong, highly motivated and creatively curious dance artists to join the company for productions in 2022 and beyond. Candidates are required to be highly trained in both ballet and contemporary techniques and have professional experience. Salary is £110/day.
Alexander Whitley is a London-based choreographer working at the cutting edge of British contemporary dance. He is known for producing technologically innovative and thought-provoking stage works, as well as exploring the creative possibilities being opened up by new digital platforms. He has created work for companies such as The Royal Ballet, Rambert, Candoco, Balletboyz, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Hessisches Staats Ballet, and is a New Wave Associate at Sadler’s Wells.
Through his stage productions, installations and virtual reality experiences, Alexander has rapidly established a reputation for his ambitious and intellectually engaged work and has drawn together a network of exceptional collaborators.
The audition will include technique class, rep and creative tasks.
