Ballaro Dance Hosts a Company Audition for the Upcoming 2019 Performance Season

Ballaro Dance hosts a company audition for the upcoming 2019 performance season. The audition is structured like a class, including a full warm-up and large-group phrase work by choreographer Marisa f. Ballaro. Both male and female dancers (age 21+) with keen musicality, a desire to explore space, and a curiosity for bringing to life unique gestures are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals will begin in January 2019: Thursdays (weekly) from 6:00pm – 9:00pm, and on Saturdays (once monthly) from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Rehearsal and performance stipends available for projects through summer of 2019.

When: Thursday, December 13th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Where: Manhattan (the studio space will be available to dancers beginning at 6:45pm.)
