Ballet Junior de Genève Audition for 2025/26

The audition to join the Ballet Junior de Genève, a contemporary dance training programme, is open to young dancers aged 17 to 23 (possible exception to 24).
The dance-performer course aims to develop in a young dancer, his/her own artistic identity. Contact with working choreographers is made possible through every student’s participation in the school’s company: Ballet Junior de Genève.
An interest in current contemporary dance is essential.

When: Geneva, Switzerland

Where: Applications are open from 17 February until 29 March 2025, midnight.

To apply you must fill-in the application form and include :

– a portrait photo
– a dance photo,
– a video link including :
*you presentating your training and the type of course you are looking for.
*a solo (3 to 5 minutes long) filmed in a dance studio, including the following elements:
>a sequence that is standing, some traveling, jumps, rotations, a balance moment, changes in dynamics.

Please post your video on YouTube or Vimeo and make it private but viewable with the link.
Post only ONE link with the presentation and solo afterwards.

Only entries containing all the elements will be considered.
Candidates selected for the second round (in-person audition) will be notified by email in mid-April.

Candidates selected are invited to a live audition in the Ballet Junior studios in Geneva. It will take place during two days on 10th and 11th May 2025
