Belgian choreographer Koen De Preter is looking for 4 male dancers with different backgrounds for his upcoming creation ‘Tender Men’.
Both dancers with a professional dance education and autodidact physical performers are welcome.
Preferred age: 20-30. Interns/stagiaires are welcome as well.
Skills: contact improvisation, basic acting skills, having your own unique style in contemporary dance is a big plus
Other: being based in Belgium or The Netherlands.
Creation period: 10 weeks between August 2019 and January 2020.
Premiere: Kunstencentrum STUK, Leuven (B)
Touring: January-March 2020 + autumn 2020.
Type of contract: freelance (cao Belgium)
Where: Cultuurcentrum ccBe Berchem.
Walking distance from Antwerpen-Berchem train station. Antwerp, Belgium
When: 12th + 13th of January 2019. Saturday a first selection will be made, Sunday will be the callback day.
Deadline for applications: January 4th 2019
