B&M2 junior compagnie – 2024/2025 auditions

Since 6 years, the B&M2 Junior Compagnie has established itself as a real springboard between school and the professional dance world, in the Basque Country. With artistic dynamism and growing notoriety, it offers its members the opportunity to develop their talent, perfect their technique and prepare for the national and international stages.
The B&M2 junior company thus allows you to acquire stage experience, immersion in creative work with a choreographer, but also learning how to manage the dancer’s body in the versatility of styles. Within the company, young dancers learn to create their own artistic identity through individual and personalized support.
B&M2 is a young company directly linked to the professional company Ballet & Modern Compagnie. It is made up of 15 pre-professional dancers, aged 16 to 22. It offers a program of 35 hours per week of lessons and rehearsals. The school year is punctuated by around ten shows, the intervention of external artists and guest teachers as part of immersion weeks.

Selection criteria:
– Good classic technique, tip for girls
– Pas de deux technique for boys
– Good contemporary and improvisation technique
– Be between 16 and 22 years old
– Be open to team spirit and multidisciplinarity

Students will be selected by audition including a classical lesson, a repertoire lesson, a free solo and an interview with the jury.

The audition is open to all young dancers of any nationality.
