BURKICOM is Looking for 5–6 Dancers
BURKICOM company is seeking young versatile dancers under the age of 27, with strong background in various dance styles (contemporary, street dance, floor work,…). We are looking for 5–6 distinctive artists with creativity, strong improvisational abilities, theatrical presence, and unique talents that can surprise.
BURKICOM is a company based in Prague and founded by choreographer and director Jana Burkiewiczova in 2015. Jana’s unique style, enhanced by collaborations with leading Czech designers, brings distinctive contemporary theatre dealing with current sociological issues, dominated by specific movement techniques and artistic concepts.
Requirements:
BURKICOM is currently seeking dancers to join the cast of our upcoming production, set to premiere in March/April 2027. Successful candidates will be engaged on a project-based contract, requiring full participation throughout the rehearsal period and all scheduled performances. Key dates and requirements include:

Rehearsal period:
6 weeks between February and March/April 2027 (Exact dates to be determined)
Premiere:
March/April 2027
Selected dancers not residing in Prague must note that accommodation in Prague is to be arranged at their own expense. However, BURKICOM will offer a fixed daily contribution to assist with accommodation costs during the rehearsal period in Prague and will cover the minimum necessary travel costs. BURKICOM does not cover travel and accommodation for the audition.
