Caldonia Dances (UK) is Looking for a Female Dance Artist for a Dance on Screen Work

Caldonia Dances is looking for a female dance artist for the upcoming rehearsal and filming of dance on screen work ‘Weight/Wait.’ The work follows three characters called Alex as they explore the mental and physical ‘weight’ of their thoughts and inner voice through movement, text and humour.

We are particularly keen to meet a South Asian dance artist to take a role in this work and would also like to encourage applications from women of colour that are currently under-represented within our work.

Must have three years professional dance training. Must feel comfortable exploring character and text through contemporary movement and potentially using their voice whilst dancing. Must be able to pick up choreography quickly and create movement in response to poetry.

Must be available between Sunday 18th July – Thursday 22nd July – 9am – 6pm, London. Above Equity rates, plus per diems and accomm provided if needed.
