De Dutch Don’t Dance Division is looking for apprentices for 2021/2022 (M/F/non-B)

Location: The Hague, The Netherlands.
Wage: € 375,- p/m

Young, professional talents who have graduated from a (Dutch) dance academy no longer than two years ago, or senior (nearly graduated) students (Bachelor of Dance level) wishing to participate in the talent development program of De Dutch Don’t Dance Division.
• Excellent classical ballet and modern dance technique.
• Living in The Hague or surroundings, or willing to move.
• Good pointe work (f).
• Good partnering skills are essential.
• Dutch or European nationality is a plus.

Audition is by invitation only and takes place on Monday the 21st of June.

Location: Studio of De Dutch Don’t Dance Division: De Gheijnstraat 51, 2562 NL, The Hague, The Netherlands.

Set up: The audition consists of a full ballet class and repertoire. Please prepare a brief solo (max. 2 minutes), a (neo)classical variation and/or modern/contemporary solo.

Work and stage experience; the chance to dance (demi-)soloist roles in a wide variety of productions by DeDDDD and its partners. An intensive talent development program focused on individual coaching, improvement of dance technique, on- and offstage professionalism, building a (inter)national network, workshops to develop cultural entrepreneurship and to enhance career opportunities in the future.

For many years Thom Stuart & Rinus Sprong, founders of DeDDDD, put their years of experience in training, coaching and advising, successfully into the promising young dancers of DeDDDD. This talent development program give dancers the change to train intensively on their dance technique, (re)presentation, cultural entrepreneurship, professionalism and versatility.
DeDDDD gives the dancers a basis so they can focus on their profession and enhance their career chances in the dance field.
