FACES COLLETTIVO DANZA is Looking for Female and Male Dancers
The “FACES COLLETTIVO DANZA” is looking for female and male dancers who will make up the cast of the new contemporary dance and research show “PENSAMENTU,” with direction and artistic direction by Simone Bua and Giorgia Chessa.
Requirements:
candidates should have a distinct contemporary dance technique; knowledge of good technique in urban and related dances (hip hop, house, breaking, popping, locking, waacking) is appreciated.
Ability to improvise, teamwork and versatility in styles is a plus.
The period of commitment required will be between October 2023 and May 2024 in Turin or neighbouring area, approximately one full weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday), with communication of the detailed rehearsal schedule upon completion of the selections.
The debut is expected in May 2024.

– Curriculum vitae in pdf format
– 2 photographs: close-up and full-length (possibly staged)
– Suggested submission of 1 video (self-tape, youtube, vimeo, etc.) lasting up to 2 minutes, showing the candidate on stage or during an improvisation
Selected candidates will be notified to report for the in-person audition via email by September 27, 2023, with full details of scheduled times.
