Hawk Dance Theatre (UK) are Seeking 2 Professional Dancers for a New Outdoor Dance Production ‘Box’

BOX will be an exciting high quality dance & digital work, created specifically for outdoor festival touring and unconventional spaces (aimed at audiences aged 13+)

Following an initial R&D phase in 2018, we are looking for 2 dancers to join our team for the creation period & preview performances of our new outdoor dance theatre show.

Applicants must have:
-Completed full time professional dance training.
-Excellent physical embodiment of movement and performance quality.
-Confident to dance upon a set design.
-Confidence to work outdoors in and amongst the public.
-Strong performance skills and confident with using text.
-A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
-The right to work in the UK.

Desirable skills:
-Experience in performing in outdoor/site-specific work
-Circus, gymnastic performers

We strongly encourage applications from diverse performers of all backgrounds.

Where: Manchester, WILDHAWK Studios
When: Monday 6th January 2020, 11:00am – 16:00pm

Invitation: All applicants will be notified by email on 12th December 2019. Audition is by INVITATION ONLY.

Applicants must be available for during the following period (Dates TBC):
3 x weeks rehearsal in March 2020.
3 test performances across Summer 2020.

Rates of pay are set above UK ITC Rates guidance. All touring expenses are included and relocation allowances are provided during rehearsal periods.

Please note we cannot cover independent travel costs to attend the audition.
