John O’Brien, The Everyman and Company Philip Connaughton are searching for 4 female musician-actors and 3 female dancers for their upcoming production of the multidisciplinary opera ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’, composed and directed by John O’Brien and choreographed by Philip Connaughton.
3 female dancers should be technically strong contemporary dancers who are versatile and open minded with good improvisation and partnering skills.
Development phase 1: November 16th – 19th 2017 (Musicians and Dancers)
Development phase 2: April 2nd -7th 2018 (Musicians only—including recording)
Production: 17th September 2018 – 28th October 2018, rehearsals in Cork followed by performances in Cork, Dublin and Limerick.
Where: Everyman, 15 MacCurtain Street, Cork, Ireland
When: 16th October 2017
