Mobius Dance is Seeking Performers of All Genders Based in the North of England
Gianluca Vincentini is seeking applications for Möbius Dance’s new projects from performers of all genders based in the North of England, especially recent graduates or professionals who have been practicing for up to three years. We encourage applications from people from Black, Asian, minority ethnic backgrounds, and LGBTQI+.
The new works include a short dance film directed by Gianluca Vincentini and the creation of a new dance work for stage and outdoors by choreographer Wilhelmina Ojanen.
Möbius Dance requires dancers with a high level of dance, theatre and performance skills. We are seeking creative dancers with strong artistic identity, who are able to contribute to the creative processes required for the company´s dynamic and diverse repertoire.
This is an exciting opportunity for performers who can demonstrate a great level of commitment, enthusiasm and exceptional talent and are based in the North of England.
Dancers may be selected for one or both projects. However, they must be available for the full length of the specific project. Please indicate which project you are available for in your application.
New Dance Film
– 1st November 2019 (Friday)
– W/c: 4th and 11th of November 2019
New Creation
– W/c: 28th October 2019
– W/c: 17th and 24th February 2020
– W/c: 2nd, 9th and 16th of March 2020
Performances
– 12 and 21 March 2020
Audition date : 6th October 2019
Where: Audition will be held in Leeds at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and will be by invitation only.
