National Dance Company Wales will hold auditions for male / identifying dancers in August 2020 for freelance contract, starting 2nd Nov 2020 until May 2021 (subject to change).

The company makes innovative work with and for all kinds of people in all kinds of places, helping to model how we could be individually and collectively. The company is looking for experienced dancers who are confident in their technical ability, curious about what they do not know and willing to connect generously to a variety of audiences, collaborators, and participants. The company presents its work in different formats and contexts across Wales and around the world as well as digitally, commissioning primarily choreographers who have not yet been commissioned in the UK.

Due to the nature of the Covid-19 pandemic unfortunately on this occasion applicants are required to have UK working rights and will need to be able to relocate to Cardiff, Wales within current travel restrictions.
A small number of applicants will be invited to spend time with the company at the Dance House. Auditions will include technique class, exploration of repertoire, improvisation, and an interview.

When: Week Commencing 17th and 31st August (socially distanced auditions – subject to Welsh government restrictions)
