Open Audition for Male Dancers to Join balletLORENT Company, Choreography by Liv Lorent

balletLORENT is a Sadler’s Wells National Partner, and Associate company to Northern Stage

One experienced and creative freelance male dancer wanted for induction weeks of 18th and 25th March OR Official start date of 13th May for new work The Lost Happy Endings, written by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy

Rehearsal and performance weeks are:

13 & 20 May

22 & 29 July

16, 23 & 30 September

7 & 21 October

Premiere w/b 28 October

A professional commitment required to create and perform this new work over a national tour of approx. 38 performances in Spring and Autumn of 2020 including 3 performances on Sadler’s Wells main stage. Dancers are required to possess strong contemporary or ballet technique, excellent communication skills with adults and children, and be interested in working collaboratively

Rehearsals take place in Newcastle upon Tyne, and all balletLORENT dancers from out of town will be provided with subsidised travel to the city and accommodation paid for by balletLORENT.

Fee: £525 per week (pro rata)

When: Audition is on 7th March from 1.00pm – 6.00pm
