UPDATED: SE19DanceProject are Looking for Dancers/Performers, Workshop Facilitators and Workshop Assistants for their Croydon based project: Mission Earth

Performers:

We are looking for two dancers/performers who have experience of working with children or performing in works for young audiences. Experience working with text and spoken word would be an additional plus. We hope to find performers who are passionate about children’s engagement in dance and believe in the power of dance to activate and empower children.

The work you will be performing in has been created and performed before, however there will be space for creative input. You will be working with choreographers Greta Gauhe and Ania Straczynska.

The dancer/performer fees are as follows-

Rehearsal daily rate: £150

Performance daily rate: £200

Workshops Facilitators:

This role would suit dance teachers who can facilitate creative workshops in schools. This role would suit experienced individuals who can plan and lead inspiring and engaging movement workshops.

Workshop Assistants:

This role would suit recent graduates or dance teachers with less than 2 years of teaching experience who are interested in gaining new skills.

The Workshop fees are as follows-

Workshop lead: £50 for 1h workshop

Workshop assistant: £25 for 1h workshop

This project is designed specifically for Croydon communities, and we are looking for people that can represent this diverse community. We therefore strongly encourage artists from Black, Asian, and ethnically diverse backgrounds to apply as well as disabled and neurodivergent

Key Dates:

Audition: 22nd October 2023, 1pm-4pm (venue in South East London)

Rehearsals: 6, 12, 13, 19 November (tbc exact amount of hours/days)

Performances :

W/c 20th and w/c 27th November 2023 and Saturday 13th January, all in a variety of venues in Croydon (London)

School workshops:

Variety of dates in November
