“Song of the Goat” Theatre is Announcing Call for Professional Dancers for its Newest Production ANTI-GONE
“Song of the Goat” theatre is announcing call for professional dancers for its newest production ANTI-GONE. After incredible success of ISLAND production created in collaboration with Ivan Perez Avilles and INNE Company dancers, we are attempting another collaboration with dancers.
We are looking for 8 contemporary dancers (it would be an advantage if you have ballet training – not obligatory). 4 female and 4 male dancers will make two casts of 4 dancers.
After being selected to project you will be asked to come for two, and half months for rehearsals period in Poland, starting 17th of September. Premiere date will be 23rd, 24th, 25th of November 2018. It will be an original creation directed by Grzegorz Bral, and choreographer Melanie Lomoff, a principal dancer of Alan Platel for 10 years. You will also be working with string quartet, and 8 opera singers in a research of connection, and coordination between voice, movement, poetry, and instrumental music. “Song of the Goat” theatre is known for its research on interconnectedness of different art forms.
When: Audition will take place on the 21st, 22nd of July, 2018.
Where: Wroclaw, Poland
Deadline for Applications: 10th of July. Answers will be given by 15th of July.
