The triip Project and Dancing Strong Company are Looking for Dancers for Residencies & Performances During 2019.

The triip Project offers a space for choreographers and dancers to come together and ‘Turn Research Ideas Into Practice’, with choreographers offered a short residency of free studio space (usually 2 – 3 days) along with a pool of freelance professional dancers.
Advantages to being involved as a dancer include networking opportunities, continued working with a wide range of choreographers and footage / images to add to your portfolios.
triip is run as a “priceless project”, with curators, administrators, choreographers and dancers receiving no fee for involvement. Triip is a joint project between Dancing Strong and the Middlesex Choreography Research Cluster. The project is curated and run by Helen Kindred, Harry Fulleylove and Dr Adesola Akinleye.

Dancing Strong (under the direction of choreographer Dr Adesola Akinleye) are looking for diverse professional project-based dancers, with contracts commencing early 2019. The philosophy of the company is underpinned by the statement that dance is not a luxury, but is for everyone.
Previously the company have presented work in Europe, USA and Canada, and are currently touring two productions, Light Steps and Found, to venues across England (amongst other projects).
This is a paid opportunity, with fee confirmed before individual projects commence.
