Giordano Dance Chicago, America’s Original Jazz Dance Company is Holding Auditions

Giordano Dance Chicago, America’s original jazz dance company, is comprised of ten Company dancers (5 men, 5 women) and 5-8 Performing Associates (PA) and Giordano II dancers. This audition will be held to fill positions in both salaried and non-salaried company positions. GDC is dedicated to the mentorship and promotion of artists from within the organization.

Performing Associates and Giordano II perform at festivals, events, and occasionally fill in for main company members should there be injury or sickness. Performing Associates have the opportunity to perform with both Giordano II and the Main Company. Main Company members are chosen from Performing Associate and Giordano II positions.

Applicants must have a strong background in ballet and jazz technique and be willing to relocate to Chicago, IL. Contracts for GDC’s 57th season begin August 2019.
