UK Based Contemporary/Modern Dance Dancers Wanted for Dance Class Videos
Looking for reliable and passionate pre-professional students, or recent graduates professionally trained in modern dance such as Graham, Horton, Limon, or Cunningham. Ideally, the right dancers are based in London in the UK. Any gender or ethnicity.
Project: Dance class videos.
When: Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th April 2021. 9 to 5 pm. You won’t be required for this whole time, at this stage probably 1 or 2 days.
Where: South London, between Greenwich and Bexleyheath.
Role: You will play yourself! You are taking a great class, let’s work on this technique, and let’s have fun!
Pay: £120/day + £10.50 for transport for each day.
Showreel: We will also offer you a nice short video of your performance.
Drinks and 1 meal provided for each day.
However, if you are fancy about your food please feel free to bring anything you like.
We are particularly keen to share this experience with positive and happy dancers, you are serious and hard-working. You have good technique, nice posture, and a good understanding of modern dances such as Graham, Horton, Limon, or Cunningham. You are confident and love performing, although these are private dance videos, it is still a performance, so you are confident and happy to appear on camera. You are also comfortable in your own body and you love your tights and a nice leotard!
We would love this to stay real, it is a class so no perfection is expected but real dedication, professionalism, and hard-work are a real plus!
You are inspiring and a real role model, you love to learn and you are willing to follow directions the best you can. You are a smiley person and you have nice energy and stamina. We are living in special times, however, you are optimistic and live with that, you are not too worried and you inspire to a bright future, the show must go on!

A very small group will be on set, not more than 5 and we will self-distancing, no masks are required in the studio during filming as we will work as a bubble, masks will be required in communal areas and in the studio between shots if you wish to.

Audition: The right candidates will be invited to an online dance audition, 1 or 2 hours, on the 27th or the 30th of March 2021, following by a short interview on zoom if you are successful.
