Audition Call – 2018 Creation: We are Monchichi
Choreography: Honji Wang & Sébastien Ramirez
For its new creation «We are Monchichi», Company Wang Ramirez seeks 1 female and 1 male dancers/performers, ideally based in Paris. This new work will be inspired by Monchichi’s aesthetics. A complete recreation will take place based on the personal history and inspiration of the selected dancers. This creation is based on a couple story.
PROFILES
1 Female Dancer:
– Ballet, contemporary and hiphop technics
– Strong physical, graceful aesthetics with ballet background
– Good isolation skills and powerful floor-work
– Partnering experience
– Professional stage experience
– Improvisation skills
– Multilingual
– Ability to memorize lines
– Available for all rehearsal and production dates
1 Male Dancer:
– Contemporary & hiphop technics as well as bboying skills
– Strong physical, graceful aesthetics / lines
– Good isolation skills and powerful floor-work
– Partnering experience
– Professional stage experience
– Improvisation skills
– Multilingual
– Ability to memorize lines
– Available for all rehearsal and production dates

– June 11 to 21, in Perpignan

Premiere: June 20, 2018 at Théâtre de l’Archipel, National Theater of Perpignan.

Rehearsals & performances’ fee according to the French Union Agreement for Artistic and Cultural Organizations.
