Ballet Austin Have Announced Their Dates for the Upcoming Audition Tour
Ballet Austin is classically innovative. Through excellence and faithful stewardship, we create, nurture and share the joy of dance.
Ballet Austin’s main company employs 22 dancers under the direction of Stephen Mills, Ballet Austin’s Sarah & Ernest Family Fund Artistic Director. Main company dancers perform a mixed repertoire that ranges from original full-length ballets such as The Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, and Cinderella, to cutting-edge contemporary ballets. Choreographers represented in Ballet Austin’s repertoire include Stephen Mills, George Balanchine, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Twyla Tharp, Ulysses Dove, Dwight Rhoden, David Parsons, Nicolo Fonte, Justin Peck, Pam Tanowitz, and Paul Vasterling.
