North Spain Ballet Intensive
NORTH SPAIN BALLET INTENSIVE 2027 | MORE THAN A SUMMER INTENSIVE
North Spain Ballet Intensive is an international ballet training programme held at Pontevedra’s City Auditorium (Pazo da Cultura), Spain, over three weeks: 28 June–9 July and 2–6 August 2027.
With a maximum of 80 selected students, the programme prioritises high-quality training, individual attention and an environment where every dancer can reach their full potential.
Distinguished guest teachers from European opera houses and professional ballet companies lead classes in classical ballet, repertoire, contemporary dance and specialised coaching, offering an exceptional environment for artistic and technical development.
But NS Ballet Intensive is much more than a summer programme. It is a gateway to the professional dance world.
Throughout the three weeks, invited Ballet Masters and professionals from European opera houses and ballet companies may observe students, discover emerging talent and assess their professional potential.
Dancers preparing to embark on a professional career receive personalised guidance on suitable auditions, European Trainee Programmes and ballet companies. Outstanding participants may also be considered for future training or professional opportunities, depending on their artistic profile and available positions.
The programme also benefits from the support of Pontevedra City Council’s Department of Culture, helping subsidise participation costs and making international-level ballet training more accessible.
Our mission goes beyond training dancers: we aim to discover talent, nurture artistic potential and connect the next generation with real opportunities for their professional future.
Train. Grow. Connect. Build your future.
